Yosutebito: Japanese word meaning recluse, or hermit… Zac Jacobsen’s persona has
been synonymous with Drum & Bass in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 18 years.
Formerly known as Bicolas of Skills DJ Workshop and DanceRecords.com. He began
his journey mixing Jungle and Hardcore Techno at raves and night clubs beginning in
1998 with a residency at Skills Events in San Francisco and Oakland. As the cofounder
and host of the popular monthly night club, “Rhythm Method” which was
responsible for hosting a devastating slough of massive headliners over the years.
Many of which who had never performed in the United States before.
Between his night club project Rhythm Method and arranging the Drum & Bass stages
at nearly every Skills event for most of a decade, he was now opening for acts such as
Evol Intent, Calyx, Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Pendulum, Concord Dawn, Shy FX, John
B, Dieselboy, and even the legendary DJ Hype between the years of 2001 and 2006.
Opening for Andy C & MC GQ in 2007 was an unforgettable honor. Also sharing the
stage with artists like Phace, Sub Focus, Bad Company, Cause 4 Concern, Dom &
Roland, The Upbeats, Aphrodite, and rubbing elbows with innumerable other prolific
artists as the years rolled on.
Yosutebito is known for transcending blends of futuristic, technotic, neurotic,
Neurofunk, drifting into lush, dreamy Liquidfunk with all kinds of soul for your ear hole.
Coining the term “Neurodisco”, Yosutebito has always been crowd favorite and
guaranteed floor mover. Yosutebito has naturally turned to producing his own brand of
Drum & Bass music and has recently released two unsigned dance floor smashers.
Currently getting heavy DJ support around the Bay Area as a budding Drum & Bass
producer, Yosutebito has recently teamed up with Miss Haze to create the powerhouse
duo “Lost Cat & Reward”. Immediately being snatched up and signed to Lotus
Mathematics as soon as their sound was discovered by the label. The first release from
the newly formed production outfit, is titled “Clothbox”, and set to release May 23rd,
2016. With plenty of other tunes on the way and almost two decades of DJ experience,
you can expect to hear a lot more from this emerging inferno…

Skruffeh:

One of the first to reignite the spark of Hardstyle in Southern California, Skruffeh is a force to be reckoned with. From putting out a free live hand-crafted mix each month, to booking gigs alongside some of the top names in hardstyle, to relentlessly pushing himself to craft his own sound; Skruffeh has been and will be at the forefront of American Hardstyle.

This event will be going from 9pm-3am!
